RCI Lime today is principally involved in the extraction, processing and
distribution of limestone based products such as quicklime, quicklime
powder, hydrated lime and dolomite lime.RCI Lime is currently the reputable
supplier of quality lime products in Malaysia and is certified under ISO
9001:2008.

Lime’s products are widely used in different industries whereby our
customers are unique in their own way. This is why we manufacture a range of
limestone based products and offer services suited only to their specific
needs. RCI Lime markets its products to the steel, pulp & paper, mining,
water treatment plants, sugar processing, agriculture, incineration, calcium
silicate bricks and construction industries, both locally and
internationally. In order to ensure limestone supply with consistency in
quality, RCI only extracts high-quality limestone from its self owned
quarries. Quality is an
essential component of our policy. The Company is committed to excellence in
satisfying customer’s needs and strives for quality in everything we do.
In 1993, RCI erected its first Chisaki Lime Kiln from
Japan. This Chisaki kiln was commissioned in 1993 with a daily production
capacity of 70MT of quicklime. Due to overwhelming demand, a similar second
and third kiln was commissioned in 1994 and 1996 respectively together with
hydration plant. In 2010, all the production facilities in Lahat were
relocated to Gopeng site to consolidate production facilities and improve
productivity.
In 2001, construction started on a new state-of-the-art kiln and a hydration
plant in Gopeng, in the State of Perak, Malaysia. The new Italian
Cimprogetti lime kiln was commissioned in January 2003 to produce 250 mt/day
of quicklime and 8 mt/hour of hydrated lime. The second Cimprogetti lime
kiln with the capacity of 300 mt/day was completed in 2006. With the new
added capacity, RCI Lime have in total 5 lime kilns with a combined
production capacity of 760 mt/day of quicklime and more than 250 mt/day of hydrated
lime. As the reputable lime manufacturer in the region, RCI Lime aims to
