Rock Chemical Industries (M) Berhad (“RCI”) was incorporated in Malaysia in January 1973 as a private limited company under the name Rock Chemical Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. In November 1989, the Company converted into a public company and assumed its present name. In June 1990, RCI shares were listed and quoted on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (formerly known as Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange).

Today, RCI is known as a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Group is principally engaged in quarrying of limestone, processing and distributing industrial minerals, manufacturing of calcium silicate bricks, trading in building materials and chemical products, investment holding and provision of management consultancy services. The Group operates in Malaysia and sells its products and services in the domestic and international markets.
