Incorporated in Malaysia on 30th January 1973.

1975

First plant was commissioned to produce white Portland cement.

1989

Converted to public company in November.

1990

Listed on Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) second board on 28 June.

1993

Diversified from manufacturing white Portland cement into producing lime based products.

1993

The 1^st lime kiln (Chisaki –Japanese made) was commissioned by RCI

1994

The 2^nd lime kiln (Chisaki –Japanese made) was commissioned. A hydration plant was built in the same year.

1996

The 3^rd lime kiln (Chisaki –Japanese made) was commissioned.

2000

Sold 60% of white cement business.

2002

Sold remaining 40% share of white cement business.

2003

The 4^th   lime kiln (Cimprogetti – Italian made) was commissioned.

2004

RCI became a subsidiary of Mega First Corporation Berhad.

2006

The 5^th lime kiln (Cimprogetti – Italian made) was commissioned.

2007

Batamas Sdn Bhd became a subsidiary of RCI

2009

RCI is listed on Bursa Malaysia Main Market
